At Eastwood, our journey began with a simple observation: most outdoor furniture fails to bridge the gap between beauty and brawn. We saw a world of beautiful pieces that withered in the sun, and sturdy pieces that lacked soul.

Eastwood was founded to bridge that gap. Located in the heart of Indonesia’s woodworking heritage, we draw inspiration from centuries-old techniques and fuse them with the aesthetic demands of contemporary architecture. We don't just build furniture; we curate outdoor experiences.

How We Build Excellence.

As a company that depends on the gifts of nature, we are committed to giving back. For every collection we produce, we support reforestation initiatives. Our SVLK certification ensures that every log is traceable, legal, and harvested with respect for the ecosystem. When you choose Eastwood, you are choosing a greener future.

  1. Selective Sourcing: We only use Tectona Grandis (Teak) from sustainable plantations. We select timber with the highest oil content to ensure natural water resistance.

  2. Kiln-Dry Precision: Every piece of wood is seasoned in controlled kilns to achieve the perfect moisture content, preventing warping and cracking in different climates.

  3. The Artisan’s Touch: While we use CNC technology for precision, the soul of our furniture lies in the hand-finishing. Our craftsmen spend hours sanding and polishing each piece to a silk-like touch.

  4. Premium Upholstery: We partner with brands like Sunbrella™ to provide cushions that are fade-resistant, water-repellent, and incredibly soft.

MATERIALS

THE FINEST FOR YOUR PRODUCTS

WOOD

All the wood materials entering the manufacturing process is plantation wood only and 100% legal, verified by third party within the SVLK Indonesian legal wood program (V-Legal).

Our wooden furniture is fully machine-made; joints are tenon mortised, (no nails are used in the entire production process).

Wooden components are kiln’dried before machining up to a maximum of 14-16 % moisture content.

TEAK

Teak is a close grained hardwood with high natural oil content, it is highly resistant to rotting and almost impervious to the effects of sun, rain, frost or snow. these characteristics make it the ideal timber for all outdoor applications.

We only use carefully selected teak logs for our production. We are able to provide first grade and mixed grade teak:
– First grade: straight grain (quarter sawn), absence of knots, sapwood and uniform color
– Mixed Grade: natural grain, sound knots, small parts of sapwood, thus increasing rendement for optimal use

In both cases, your furniture will be manufactured with the same care and high production standards, guaranteeing low maintenance and full satisfaction for many years ahead.

ALL-WEATHER WICKER

All our wicker furniture is hand woven with Viro® fiber, a superior quality polyethylene based fiber characterized by high flexibility and tensile strenght.

The advantages of VIRO® are:

– Is extremely durable, as evidenced by its UV and weather resistance.
VIRO® is 100% HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene), with UV stabilizing additives.

We offer 2 kinds of outdoor foam and both are resistant to mildew.

Urecel Quickdry® Foam

Quickdry® foam is the advanced, high-performance foam designed specially for outdoor cushions. It is the best you can get, while still affordable. Urecel QuickDry is produced by a sophisticated process called Hydro-Blast Reticulation. This is what gives Urecel QuickDry its unique porous open-cell structure and why it completely out performs closed-cell, non-reticulated, regular foams. The large, open pores in Urecel QuickDry allow water to drain very rapidly and fresh air to circulate freely and continuously.

Urecel QuickDry feels more comfortable and luxurious, but is also stronger and more supportive. That’s why our cushions keep their shape. Uregard is an anti-microbial technology which prevents the growth of common moulds and fungus.

PRIMA® premium foam

Prima® premium foam is a high quality foam, which is processed by only pure foam base materials without mixing Calcium Carbonate filler, Hence PRIMA Foam is more durable, not easily deflated, NO-artificial hardness and most importantly is that the foam not easily damaged even when submerged in water. PRIMA Foam has 4 different hardness (Super soft, Soft, Medium and Firm) that are adjusted to most comfort levels and is protected by in-built antimicrobial system.

FABRICS

We offer mainly 2 kinds of outdoor fabrics, Sunproof and Sunbrella.

SUNPROOF

Sunproof®, is a locally made fabric, composed of polyolefin or Acrylic. Woven from 100% solution dyed olefin or acrylic yarn, the color is added beforethe yarn is extruded.

it is friendly to the environment and 100% recyclable. Perfect for all Outdoor applications, Sunproof is proven to have a strong ability to withstand the effects of prolonged exposure to sunlight, wind, rain and humidity. it is long lasting.

High UV protection rating. Sunproof fabric has gone through high quality of by an internationally recognized research and testing and evaluated service center, the Hohenstein Institute, Germany. Sunproof is an affordable choice for your outdoor upholstery needs.

SUNBRELLA

Sunbrella is your high-end outdoor fabric solution.

100% Dyed acrylic fabric, the perfect one for all casual furniture with exclusive designs.

Design Sunbrella for outdoor upholstery offers more patterns, colors and designs than any other performance fabric.

Quality – Sunbrella fabric utilizes the finests raw materials, an ISO 900 certified vertical manufacturing operation, on-site testing labs, and over fourty-five years experience with performance fabrics. Fade-resistant, sunbrella fabric is unmatched in resistance to fading; the degrading effects of sunlight and salt water Durability Sunbrella fabric retains its strength after years of cleaning and weathering.
